7. Ticket Price
The total price payable is made up of the base ticket price (the “face value”, set by the Event Organiser and inclusive of Consumption Tax), plus any per-ticket fees, plus any additional fees calculated on a per-transaction basis (such as payment fees and delivery fees).
All applicable fees are displayed at the outset of the purchase process, before checkout is completed. The face value price shown when a ticket is selected will not change during the purchase process.
8. Fees Payable in Addition to the Ticket Price
Depending on the event and how tickets are paid for and issued, the following fees may apply in addition to the face value price:
- System Usage Fee (per ticket fee)
- Special Sales Usage Fee (per ticket fee, where applicable, varies by event)
- Ticket Issuance Fee (per ticket fee)
- Payment Fee (per transaction, where applicable)
- Delivery Fee (per transaction, where applicable)
Where an optional Extra (e.g. car parking or merchandise) is purchased from a third party, additional third-party terms and charges may apply.
The fees payable for each Event will be displayed under “More Info” on the event page and throughout the purchase process.
9. Payment Methods Accepted
Payment methods available for Ticketmaster Japan events include the following:
- credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Amex, JCB and UnionPay)
- PayPay; and
- Apple Pay.
We reserve the right to limit the payment methods available for a particular event or for particular tickets to an event.
10. Payment Timing / Deadline
Payments are processed at the time of placing your order, prior to the order being confirmed (i.e., before the Order Confirmation is issued).
In rare circumstances, if your payment is recalled by the associated bank or payment provider, we reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders you have placed, even if we have already sent an Order Confirmation.
11. Sale or Application Period (Where a Limited Period Applies)
Where an event is subject to a defined pre-sale, general or other on-sale window, the applicable dates and times are set out on that event’s ticket page (on-sale timing is determined by the Event Organiser, not Ticketmaster).
12. Purchase Quantity Limits and Other Special Conditions of Sale
For some events, a maximum number of tickets that may be purchased (a “ticket limit”) applies.
The ticket limit may apply per person, per payment method, and/or per household, and is stated on the relevant event page.
Using multiple accounts, payment methods, email addresses or false information to circumvent a ticket limit is prohibited.
If a purchaser exceeds, or tries to exceed, the posted ticket limit, Ticketmaster may cancel the relevant order(s) and tickets (refunding the face value price but we may not refund associated fees) and may terminate the purchaser’s account and ban the purchaser from buying tickets in the future.
Details of the ticket limit, and any other special conditions, are posted on the event page and can typically be found by clicking the “More Info” button at the top of the page.
13. Method and Timing of Ticket Delivery / Transfer of Rights
After your payment is confirmed, you will be able to download or receive your tickets by the date specified by Ticketmaster, within the period before the event start date as noted under the “More Info” button at the top of the event page.
In most cases, tickets purchased online are digital tickets delivered electronically to the purchaser’s Ticketmaster account/App. Purchasers are responsible for logging into the Ticketmaster App or their account and downloading/accessing their tickets in good time before the event.
For some events, tickets will not be issued or dispatched until a specified time closer to the event (to help reduce unlawful resale), as stated in the Order Confirmation. Ticketmaster also reserves the right to make tickets available for collection at the venue box office or another designated collection point instead of other delivery methods, in which case the purchaser will be notified by SMS, phone or email, and may be asked to present their booking confirmation, photo ID, and the payment card used for the order.
14. Cancellation, Exchange and Refund Terms
Please note:
All sales are final. Once an order has been confirmed, cancellations, exchanges or refunds requested for the customer’s convenience are not available except as required by applicable law or as expressly provided in the Standard Purchase Policy.
Refunds are provided only where an event is cancelled, postponed or rescheduled (or otherwise required by law), in accordance with, and subject to the conditions of, the Standard Purchase Policy.
Where a refund is payable, the face value price, System Usage Fee, Special Sales Usage Fee and Ticket Issuance Fee will be refunded — except that those fees will not be refunded for a given event where the event information for that event specifically states they are non-refundable. Per order fees (such as Payment Fees and Delivery Fees) will not be refunded. Refunds are processed only to the original payment method used, cannot be split between a refund and a credit, and a refund/credit request is final once made.
15. Ticketmaster’s Right to Cancel an Order
Ticketmaster may cancel your order in any of the following circumstances. In such case, we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by you as a result of the cancellation of the relevant order or ticket:
- if we are unable to verify your identity, billing address or payment method;
- if you fail to pay the full amount due;
- if we reasonably determine that there has been fraudulent use or a fraudulent transaction;
- if payment made using your selected payment method is reversed by a financial institution, card issuer or payment service provider;
- if you purchase tickets in excess of the applicable ticket limit, or if we reasonably suspect that tickets have been purchased in breach of the ticket limit;
- if we reasonably suspect that you have engaged in the unlawful resale of tickets or breached the Terms of Use or Standard Purchase Policy; or
- if a system error, pricing error or other error occurs in processing your order (in which case, we may cancel your order and provide a full refund, or offer you the opportunity to confirm your order again on the corrected terms).
16. Non-Conforming or Defective Tickets
Tickets generally cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. However, where Ticketmaster can identify the actual seat corresponding to the ticket (or, for a general admission ticket, can identify and cancel the relevant ticket) and the purchaser gives Ticketmaster reasonable notice ahead of the event, Ticketmaster will issue a replacement ticket.
17. Software / System Operating Requirements
You can find tickets better with the latest version of your favourite browser. Supported browsers include: Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
To avoid errors, don’t open multiple browsers or tabs when purchasing tickets. Turn off your VPN, Apple Private Relay and other proxy servers. This is bot-like activity and may result in you being blocked.
